League Update
Men,
I have sent out all the week 4 files...please remember that both week 3 and 4 are due by this Sunday!! If you are unable to play your game, please contact your opponent and me and let us know that they need to play the "computer manager". If I do not hear from 2 owners who were supposed to play...I will have to autoplay the game on Sunday.
Couple of reminders:
1. The roster move and trades deadline is week 6 of our league. Once I send out the files for our week 6 game...no more roster moves or trades are allowed!
2. Please keep in mind the overusage rules which can be found on our website. Also, remember that we made one change that has not been updated on the website as of yet. I will go over the rules once again! - First of all, we took overusage off during the season. We monitor them ourselves but not during the season. After the season, we check for overusage of players.
- here is how it works:
- we are only concerned about players that were actually used a lot.
- we decided to check players who have a certain amount of "qb attempts", "rb attempts", or "wr/te/rb receptions".
for "WR/TE/RB's" - after the season we check them if they had 50 or more catches in our league...if 49 or less, they are not checked and can not be considered overused. if they have 50 or more...we apply the 125% overusage rule. therefore, if a player caught 60 in the NFL...then he can catch 75. Be sure and check your rb's for receptions as well!!
RB's running attempts - same rule applies...we check them when they reach 100 or more carries. If they only have 99 or less, they will not be checked.
QB's passing attempts - (this is the rule that was changed this year) it was 300 but now is 200. so any qb's who throw 199 or less will not be checked. 200 or more will be checked with the 125% rule applied to their NFL stats.
Hope this makes sense to everyone. Please keep up on each of your own players and be sure to not overuse them. The penalties for overusage are also on our website. based on the % of overusage, you lose the player and a draft pick!!
Thanks JC

Camden (3-1) 23 @ Rochester (1-3) 7
The hosting Rochester Absolut Goofs could never get untracked mostly due to a wave of penalties that stymied drive after drive. The Grays took advantage of the long situations resulting in two picks of Rochester QB Eli Manning who would suffer a miserable game where he completed a mere 5 passes in 17 attempts. The A-Goofs' Tike Barber did yeoman-like work carrying the ball 23 times for 133 yards but was held without a TD.
Camden's offense was in a grind it out mood. RB Thomas Jones continued his resurgence gaining 111 yards on some 23 carries before allowing Ruben Droughns to finish out the game once the issue was no longer in doubt. The QB tandem of Akili Smith and Kurt Warner were efficient in moving the chains all night long although their numbers do not appear great. Smith completed 14 of his 28 tosses for just 97 yards while Warner connected on 5 of his 7 for 39 yards. In all, the Grays totalled 23 first downs while Rochester was able to get just 10 but the penalty bug took huge bites out of the A-Goofs' attack. Kenny O was very gracious an his team deserved a better fate. He called a fine game but could not et any breaks at all.

Glad to be a new member.
I may be in the market for acquiring a better full-time QB but will need some time to analyze my team a bit more. If anyone has any ideas or moves they have been advertising of late, please refresh me so I can catch up asap. Thanks guys.
PS-I am around most every evening and can play and talk most of the time if ya need to get me.
Thanks
