I will send out preseason league manager this week - and preseason game files on Sunday evening for the week of October 12th - 18th.

ASFLC League Update & Timeline

Here is a an update of our league and timeline... (please read over this information carefully)

1. Roster moves and trades will open back up this week starting on Tuesday, October 6th at Noon eastern. I will send the updated "spreadsheet" and "strat league manager" this week for each of you to confirm your team and rosters. Some teams may need to adjust their rosters to meet 54 man requirement...including position limitations (for example, every team has to have at least 4 players on their roster that can play DE).

2. We will use the week of October 12th - 18th as 1 week of preseason. I will send preseason files for each of you to play 1 "preseason game/scrimmage". As we have done in the past...I do not care if you play the whole game and you do not need to send in any results. The main purpose is to give each owner a chance to work out any "netplay" connection issues. To make sure that we are not having any problems as we begin the season.

3. If everything goes according to plan, the season will officially kick-off on Monday, October 19th.

4. We will continue to give 2 weeks to play 2 games. I will only send out 1 week of files at a time. But, I can give you the next week's file upon request (please just be sure that you actually have contacted the other owner and have the game scheduled before you request that I send a file ahead of time). We play the season in 2 week periods. Here is the season layout:

A couple of other notes:
* Roster moves and trades deadline is Nov. 29th. Once week 6 is over, there can be no more roster moves or trades.
* Also, any roster moves (excluding trades) that are made will not be changed in league manager until after a 2 week period. So if you drop a player and pick someone else up, it will not be in affect until the end of that 2 week period.
* Remember that this is a NETPLAY league. Therefore, our goal is to have every game played between the two owners. Therefore, any owner who does not play at least 12 games...can not qualify to make the playoffs. And any owner who does not play at least 10 of his games will not be asked back next season (unless there are extreme circumstances). The owners who joined our league did so because of the "fun" of netplay, please do your part and play your games.
